Grow Something Real This Fall
Project Oasis is launching something new this fall — the Food Security and Urban Gardening Initiative — and we want YOU to be part of it.
If you're 12–19 and live in the City of Newburgh, this is your chance to get hands-on with community gardens, help run our Free Produce program, and make a real difference for your neighbors. No experience needed — just show up ready to learn, work outside, and be part of something that actually feeds people.
This initiative is powered by Project Oasis, Holistic Underground, and the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (Project Rise) — so you'll be part of a real, established effort, not just a one-off volunteer day.
Why join?
Spots are limited — sign up now and grab your place in the garden.

We are looking for participants aged 12-19 to help create sustainable green spaces and provide nutritional education in Newburgh. Join us in empowering our community.
Our food distribution is weekly at the Newburgh Free Library and on some Sundays from 4-6 pm at 411 Broadway.
Our upcoming workshops will be at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center, located at 321 William St., Newburgh NY 12550

Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission.
